Overview
The visual and performing arts of the Arab world provide a powerful lens for viewing and interpreting the diversity of Arabic culture. This educator resource site for the Kennedy Center’s Arabesque festival features facts and resources for the classroom, slideshows, and downloadable Arabesque Cuesheets.
Suggested Use
This site is designed to help educators introduce the Arab World to students through an exploration of Arabic literature, visual art, theater, dance, and music.
- Use the Q&A section to share facts about the World and discuss with your students what they know and want to know about Arabic culture.
- Introduce your students to the diversity of Arabic culture by downloading Cuesheets for students, viewing images from the festival, and accessing external websites that provide additional information about the Arab world.
